this was the 12 august 2026 solar eclipse from liverpool!! it was a total eclipse in other places but from here it was partial with about 92% of the sun covered at the peak

it started at about 18:13 peaked around 19:10 and finished at about 20:04 BST. the path of totality went through places like greenland iceland and northern spain while we were just outside it here in the uk

i took photos through basically the whole thing and this site lines them all up into one timeline so you can scrub through it from start to finish
